Are You Entertained?

7.00-9.00pm, October 21, 2025
James Arnott Theatre, Gilmorehill Halls, 9 University Avenue G12 8QQ

Kfir’s visa conditions strictly forbid him from working as an entertainer, so whatever he does on stage – you MUST NOT be entertained. ARE YOU ENTERTAINED? is a legally compliant and non-spectacular event that is definitely not a political cabaret about immigration law.

Kfir Lapid-Mashall is a queer artist-scholar and a doctoral researcher in Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow.

Director: Yuval Zehavi
Sound Design: Dean Cargill

Content advisory: The performance includes themes of violence, war, and displacement, and features moments of physical endurance and nudity.

Audience discretion is advised (especially if you’re prone to finding these themes not entertaining).

This project is supported by Thinking Culture funding 2025-26, awarded to PhD student Kfir Lapid.
